One of the nicest things about waking up on Saturday morning is not having to shave. Of course, sometime in the late afternoon I’ll inevitably go to kiss O or Jake and they’ll rub their cheek and say, “Rough!” It’s times like this that make me realize that while shaving is something important to do for looking presentable at work and “cleaning up” nicely for date night, it’s as critically important for those weekend kisses.

Does your husband ever get those “Too rough daddy!” responses from your children? Are you a Dad, like me, who finds himself being turned down from the weekend kiss? Well we’ve got a Twitter Party for you!

This Monday, November 21st from 5pm PST (8pm EST) to 6pm PST (9pm EST) we’re giving away $1,500 in prizes! My good friend Adam Cohen of www.DadaRocks.com (@DadaRocks) and I will be co-hosting with the one and only Amy Lupold Bair of www.ResourcefulMom.com (@ResourcefulMom).

One Response to “Kids Complain That Dads Face Is Too Rough?”

My daughter was always complaining my husbands face was too rough & it hurt her face when she would give him a kiss on the cheek so now she only kisses his forehead. It’s kind of cute because the other two little’s picked up on it & now all three kiss his forehead when they say goodnight.
